CityZone is an open innovation program and a living lab for urban technologies, established as a partnership between the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, Tel Aviv University, and Atidim Park Tel Aviv. Its goal is to harness technological innovation to improve urban life by offering the city itself as a design partner. CityZone operates a startup initiative where entrepreneurs receive guidance from relevant professional entities in the city and Tel Aviv University researchers. They also gain access to Tel Aviv's urban technology testing ground to develop their products based on real data from an actual city. Additionally, the CityZone program exposes startups to other local authorities in Israel and worldwide with which it has cooperation agreements, thereby helping startups grow in their target market.
